nurpat says: And it all goes to SHIT....SO MUCH POTENTIAL!And it has all gone to waste :(So sad. I will not read one more book in this damn series until Kara stops screwing people around (I know, they are demon lords and super hot and whatnot... but seriously, slut much?)Her main character is also weak, trying to act all tough but truly being passive and submissive, accepting going from hand to hand and screwing whoever she is with. And truly? Ryan just told her he loved her! And she only thought... about that ONCE throughout the whole book! Then the chemistry all goes to shit! Rose says: Once again Kara frustrates me to no end. At the end of the last book, Ryan finally kisses her and confesses his love. She tells him she loves him. All should be right but No! What does she do? She jumps into bed with Rhyzkahl and doesn't even think about Ryan. And this is even after Rhyzkahl is once again a complete dick. I hate saying this because you shouldn't blame the victim. But Kara should have seen what was coming with Rhyzkahl. He has been nothing but deceitful, cruel, and constantly lied. But she gets rescued by Mzatal. Not only that, but he helps heal her physical and mental health. And once again Kara becomes irrational and hysterical because she can't go back to earth. Her argument for why she is mad is that Mzatal doesn't trust her judgment. Um hello, I think it is safe to say that Kara has horrible judgement. Kara acts like a spoiled teenager in this book. Even though everything done is for her benefit to help make her stronger, she would rather sulk and whine. But after working together once, things "click" between Kara and Mzatal and surprise, surprise she sleeps with him. Weird, never saw that coming. I'm so confused on where Ryan stands. I really missed the other characters. I'm hesitant to keep reading this series but I'm going to give it one more shot...MoreLessRead More Read Less
