Another great read. I love Harold Fry...although the story has a very tragic background. I thoroughly enjoyed how through the the two main characters memories the unraveling of a family and the loss of a loved one is chronicled while one crazy and extraordinary journey pulls two souls that seemed irreparably broken apart back into their formerly shared universe. It is a story of friendship, love, loss, sacrifices, and family that just feels good even when there are moments
...of pain. I recommend everyone read this book!!!

Such lovely, British-sounding prose, I really enjoyed this book right up until the end. I felt very caught up in Harold's story and journey and was really rooting for him and his family. I didn't expect for everything to turn out just perfectly (I really would have hated some kind of Lifetime-movie or Chicken Soup for the Soul-esque, utterly unrealistic happy ending) but the end was rather discouraging, almost existentialist, and made me quite sad. Probably would have given it four stars had the ending been better.
