Neha says: That awkward moment when you like the companion novel better than the actual novel! Just saying! It's so true for this book! I found Dean's perspective waaay more fast paced and interesting and it was easier to hook onto and love than Sky's perspectives! It was such a cute love story but as per usual, Colleen Hoover's writing style is so emotional and deep! There were parts that awed me, parts that saddened me and parts that made me smile! It was such a well written novel and I feel mo...re complete now that I read both their stories and both their perspectives! I felt so bad for sky/hope and her past was so sad! She lived a broken life but I'm so glad holder was able to fix her life! I loved the ending when all the truth started coming out and we figured out the backstory and i especially loved the dad confrontation part but the suicides in this story were heartbreaking. a must read ! RikuHeart21 says: I usually avoid sequels written in a different POV than the first novel, but this book did not disappoint. Holder's story contains some hilarious stuff (i.e. Daniel), and it does a good job of fleshing out his personalities. Holder is mostly the love interest from Sky's POV, but in this book he also takes on the role of a brother, which made it much more meaningful to read. I loved the last note to Les- could not have asked for a better ending.MoreLessRead More Read Less
