    “Ms. Zealand.” He used his calm voice when he spoke. He didn’t want to set her off again. “I would like to get on the road within the hour” before he could finish his damn cell phone rang. It was Melissa, again. She hadn’t taken the news of his assignment well. She’d argued someone else could do it. He still hadn’t explained his connection to Jesminda.
