This book was extremely popular in the 1890’s. The author’s name is Nora Roberts and she has written an amount of highly popular stories in her time. A lot of readers were amazed having found the correspondence to Dreiser’s Sister Carrie. Dreiser has obviously detested this book by Nora Roberts as he disgusted sentimentality.
