Lisa Kleypas (born 1968) is a former Miss Massachusetts from 1985. She quickly became known as Miss MassaChu, since being a Miss from a state with a long name, is bit difficult with a height of 5’2 and a rule that contestants should tuck excess length of banner with state names into their swimsuits. She is married and has two children.
Lisa Kleypas tends to write rather sexy love scenes. But just as you should sing like no one hears it and dance like no one sees it, Lisa never worries about what people might think of the scenes. This has made her a bestselling, multiple award winning author, whose books have been translated into 14 languages.
In the beginning of her career as an author, which she began at early age of 21, she mainly wrote historical novels. Recent years Lisa Kleypas har written more contemporary novels like Smooth Talking Stranger, published 2009 and Blue eyed Devil, published 2008. She has however promised that we have not seen the last historical novel from her hands.

I seriously love this author. She is, honestly, one of the best writers of Romance novels. She gives the book twists and turns but not so much that it leaves the reader aghast. She also always gives the book a happy ending, which I also love. I can't wait to read the other books!

I love this writer. She is a very good romance writer. SHe gives the book ups and downs but not so much that it angers the reader.
